According to Wikipedia, "haiku ... is a type of short form poetry originally from Japan ... in a 5, 7, 5 pattern." A haiku gallery is not out of place on a photography site: with the right subject matter, a haiku can function as a photograph made with words. (A certain kind of photograph, conversely, can be regarded as a visual haiku.)
