In the summer of 2018 I began learning to work with clay. This gallery is a partial catalog, in chronological order, of what I have produced since then.
(Unless otherwise indicated, all pieces were wheel-thrown from a dark-firing stoneware clay and reduction-fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.)

Lobe-footed vessels (April 2020)
Each about 3.5" H. Shino and temmoku glazes, reduction-fired to cone 8. These were produced in 2020 during the Covid pandemic, when I had no access to the studio and had not yet installed a potter's wheel at home. So I made do with a tabletop banding wheel, in this case producing a hollow cylinder that was then pinched in to form the foot.
