In the summer of 2018 I began learning to work with clay. This gallery is a partial catalog, in chronological order, of what I have produced since then.
(Unless otherwise indicated, all pieces were wheel-thrown from a dark-firing stoneware clay and reduction-fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.)

Small red vase (November 2020)
5.5" H. Copper red on buff clay. The glaze produces a lot of visual texture and depth on this coarse clay. The vessel is now in the collection of a friend who uses it as a sake bottle.
