In the summer of 2018 I began learning to work with clay. This gallery is a partial catalog, in chronological order, of what I have produced since then.
(Unless otherwise indicated, all pieces were wheel-thrown from a dark-firing stoneware clay and reduction-fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.)

Narrow-necked vase (March 2021)
8" H. Glossy warm shino. The tonal and textural variations are produced by different thicknesses of glaze and unpredictable variations in the kiln atmosphere.
