In the summer of 2018 I began learning to work with clay. This gallery is a partial catalog, in chronological order, of what I have produced since then.
(Unless otherwise indicated, all pieces were wheel-thrown from a dark-firing stoneware clay and reduction-fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.)

Small brown vase (March 2021)
5.25" H. Satin tan. The color is too dark because the glaze was not applied thickly enough, but the overall texture and tubby shape make this very pleasing to hold. It is now in the collection of a friend who finds the tactile aspects of ceramics particularly enjoyable.
