In the summer of 2018 I began learning to work with clay. This gallery is a partial catalog, in chronological order, of what I have produced since then.
(Unless otherwise indicated, all pieces were wheel-thrown from a dark-firing stoneware clay and reduction-fired to cone 10 in a gas kiln.)

Raku vase (November 2021)
8" H; White and satin copper glazes, raku fired and reduced. Even with a very limited palette (black or gray, white, and the multicolored effects of matte and glossy copper), the range of options for this technique is obviously very wide.
