Since 1985 we have found occasional respite from northern winters—and from Phoenix summers—at small "resorts" on the coast south of Cancún on the Yucatán peninsula of Mexico, and lately at Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) at the head of the Gulf of California. The routine is always the same: look at the water, eat, relax,, continue the search for the perfect Margarita.
