My day job as a translator requires intense attention to the details of technical terminology in two languages. To refresh my brain, for many years I have taken photographs and made drawings in various media. Some of those images are presented in the galleries on this site. More recently, I have also begun to work with clay, a medium that connects me directly to elements of the Earth itself and to hundreds of generations of potters before me.
